Automation and Controls Engineer

**Job Description Summary**
As a key member of a global and matrixed design team, the Automation and Controls Engineer is responsible for the architecture of the next Generation HMI, Finalize Communications methods and interface tools for the HMI. Owns the entire software development lifecycle, with a focus on Microsoft technologies. Works with Global stakeholders and 3rd party HMI vendors to come up with the best system solution for HMI . The architect crafts HMI architectures designed for robustness, safety, quality and ease of configuration management throughout the lifecycle of the product.
