About our Role

Join the Barminco team in the Hazelmere Workshop as an Auto Electrician and support our underground mining operations across Australia, In this role, you’ll play a key part in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on our extensive fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and high machine availability for our underground sites.

What will your day to day look like?

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems on underground mobile equipment.
• Fault-find and repair wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits.
• Install and maintain safety systems, lighting, communications, and machine telematics.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
