Authorisations Technical Consultant

We're recruiting for an Authorisations Technical Consultant to join our authorisations team, who assist our Member Firms in becoming directly authorised with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), either as part of a start-up business or due to leaving a network. The team offer an end-to-end FCA application service, liaising with the FCA and providing guidance and support to firms throughout the process.

In this role you'll liaise with firms and assist them in drafting the policies and procedures FCA regulated firms are required to have in place including, but not limited to, policies relating to Vulnerable Customers, Financial Crime and Consumer Duty.

You will also be required to coach firms and Principals with regards to their regulatory obligations to prepare them for Direct Authorisation and any possible FCA authorisation interview.
