Summary The position is organizationally assigned to the Fiscal Service. The incumbent assists the Chief Financial Officer and/or the Assistant Fiscal Officer in conducting audits in the areas of finance, acquisition, logistics, payroll, and capital asset management quality control of the medical center. The primary purpose of this position is to improve the business practices in finance, acquisition, contracting, payroll, procurement, and capital asset management. Responsibilities Perform financial analysis and evaluations, conducts a variety of audits, and serves as the Medical Center's point of contact for external agencies' inspections and audits. Position is located at the Columbia VA Health Care System. Incumbent works under the supervision of the Deputy Finance Chief.
