Athletic Trainer (Per Diem)

Provide athletic training services to collegiate athletes including the evaluation, diagnosis, and acute management for Hobart & William student-athletes and all athletes participating in intercollegiate competitions. This position is supervised by the Coordinator of Sports Medicine and works under the direction of the Medical Director as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures: Physician Standing Orders.

Essential Responsibilities:


+ Provide athletic training services as directed by the Coordinator of Sports Medicine.

+ Evaluate and provide initial management for injuries that occur under their supervision.

+ Communicate with team coaches regarding return to play decisions as necessary.

+ Communication of injuries that require follow-up care either by an athletic trainer or physician.

+ Activation of the emergency action plan for the event venue as required.
