Athletic Trainer

Schedule: Shift Regular Full Time - Day Shift. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Assists physical therapists with exercise programs and patient treatments and performs rehabilitative modalities under physical therapist supervision. Develops strength training and/or conditioning programs for athletes/patients. Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance. Delivers patient care in a manner consistent with NATABOC and State of Ohio AT and PT Board Practice acts while under the supervision of a physical therapist. Clinical Support: Takes inventory of supplies and stocks supplies, equipment and linens. Alerts PT Director to purchasing and equipment repair needs. Maintains a clean and safe clinical environment. Coordinates maintenance and upkeep of gym/therapy equipment and maintains related documentation for these tasks.
