ATHLETIC THERAPIST

Cape Breton University (CBU) invites applications for the continuing full-time position of Athletic Therapist .

Under the direction of the Director of Health and Counselling Services and in conjunction with the Director of Athletics and Recreation , the Athletic Therapist is responsible for the prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing management of athletic injuries . This role is an integral part of the university’s risk management framework , supporting the health and safety of student-athletes while helping to mitigate institutional liability through the implementation of evidence-based care, established concussion management protocols, and informed return-to-play decisions that prioritize student-athlete well-being.
