JOB PURPOSE:

• Audit: To plan, execute, and finalize all assignments.
• Staff development: To ensure that all staff are productive, meet their development and competency needs, and are assessed.
• Financial: To ensure growth of the business and financial viability of the firm.
• Ad-hoc: To assist in the day-to-day operations of the firm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure prompt reporting and that all deadlines are met.
• Review the allocation of audits to staff members, ensuring understanding of duties.
• Review composition of audit teams.
• Complete relevant sections of the PRs for all team members and discuss reports with them.
• Ensure trainee accountants have completed TSR, PSR, and ER as relevant.
• Supervise and guide trainees regularly to perform required audit work and achieve competencies as per SAICA standards.
