Role Overview
Provide compassionate in-home end-of-life care for pets, including euthanasia and hospice consultations, while supporting pet owners through the grieving process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-home euthanasia with empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct hospice and end-of-life consultations.
- Offer compassionate guidance and emotional support to pet owners.
Requirements
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Maryland and/or Washington, D.C.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable handling emotionally sensitive situations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $115,000–$125,000 (Part-Time)
