Job Description

CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Underwriter I. In this role, you will support the Underwriter in quoting, issuing, and maintaining new and renewal business across Workers’ Compensation and/or Property & Casualty lines. You will take ownership of the overall process and workflow for assigned new and renewal accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless experience. This includes reviewing submissions and requesting the necessary underwriting information to facilitate policy quoting, issuance, and ongoing maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:Prepare quotes based on set criteria/thresholds/revisions and instructions from Underwriting Assist in reviewing quotes in rating system pre underwriting to ensure quality control for new and renewal business.
Solicit renewal information from broker/agency to include sending required pre-renewal notifications
