Job Description
**OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES** : Employee will assist in the preparation and production ofCBS13 and Good Day Sacramento Newscasts.
Duties include:
+ Assisting producers with building rundowns and show formats.
+ Writing for broadcast.
+ Coordinating graphics and video elements.
+ Supporting breaking news coverage with urgency and strong editorial judgment.
+ Collaborating closely with anchors, reporters, photographers, and assignment desk staff
+ Performing other duties as assigned
+ Individual must be able to work flexible hours and overtime, including early mornings and weekends. Other duties as required.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** :
+ Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
+ Television production experience and/or a college degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred but not required
