Associate Director, Wireless Engineering

Position Summary

The Associate Director, Wireless Infrastructure manages the daily operations of NYU's local and global wireless network, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware and software. Manage the wireless engineering staff and provide technical guidance, training, and support. Develop and implement project initiatives to sustain network stability and future growth for the NYU campus and global sites’ wireless networks. Develop short and long-term strategic plans for the wireless network including evaluating and recommending the purchase of new technical products and services. Technical tasks include equipment installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, configuration of software, and developing scripts and programs to automate wireless network deployment.
