Assitant Mechanic- Plant Workshop

Job Description

Assistant Mechanic will provide hands-on support to mechanics in maintaining and repairing plant workshop equipment. This role is a learning and support position, requiring technical aptitude, willingness to assist in mechanical tasks, and adherence to safety practices.

Repairs & Maintenance

• Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repair of plant equipment (RS, ECH, ITV, and other MEWS).
• Provide basic mechanical support such as cleaning, dismantling, and reassembling parts.
• Prepare tools, spare parts, and equipment required for maintenance activities.

Preventive Maintenance

• Help conduct inspections of equipment to identify early signs of wear or malfunction.
• Support PM, CM & refueling team during maintenance.

Workshop Operations

• Maintain workshop cleanliness and organize tools and spare parts.
