Effective immediately, a permanent full‑time faculty position as a Clinician Scientist is available in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Paediatrics, at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), 555 University Avenue, Toronto, ON, Canada.

Applicants must be eligible for a full‑time faculty appointment at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical care for pediatric nephrology patients, with 20–30 % of responsibilities dedicated to patient care.
• Develop and lead an impactful research program, focusing on childhood and rare kidney diseases, leveraging expertise in multi‑omics, gene editing, disease modelling, or drug discovery.
• Apply for a scientist‑track role at the SickKids Research Institute and build an impactful research career within an equitable and inclusive environment.
