The Division of Biomedical and Life Sciences (BLS) is seeking to appoint a proactive, friendly technician to support undergraduate practical teaching. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our teaching laboratories. You will provide hands-on, technical assistance to BLS’s teaching laboratories. The role holder will provide hands on technical support during term-time only. 
You will:
Check and prepare equipment, labware and chemical solutions required in practical sessions.
Lead by example through consistently adhering to excellent laboratory practices.
Work collegiately and proactively under instruction to facilitate the smooth running of the laboratories. 
Assist with the preparation of field equipment and sample collection.
