Assistant Teaching Professor (2 positions)

Position Assistant Teaching Professor – 2 positions, full‐time, non‐tenure track, 9‐month appointments. Preferred start date: August 2026. Department: Mathematics, Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics, Towson University. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, or equivalent. Commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching. Preferred: prior experience teaching Introductory Statistics, Basic, or Intermediate Algebra courses. Responsibilities Instructional workload: 24 contact hours per year; courses typically 3–4 contact hours. Includes departmental service such as course coordination or stewardship of departmental initiatives. Faculty are expected to demonstrate ongoing professional development through scholarly endeavors and engagement with the college teaching community.
