Assistant Sushi Chef

SOOSHI is looking for an Assistant Sushi Chef to join our fast-paced sushi takeaway team at Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay.

As part of our kitchen and front-of-house team, you will assist with the daily preparation and production of our freshly made Japanese cuisine, as well as stock management, customer service, and general cleaning duties.
Experience is preferred but not essential full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Preparing fresh ingredients (e.g. cutting fish, slicing vegetables, portioning ingredients)
Assisting with sushi production (rolling, plating, packaging, and basic cooking)
Taking customer orders and serving customers
Stock checking and helping maintain smooth daily shop operations
General cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards
