Assistant Supervisor (Roads) (Nightshift) - GLA15534

Job Description Report to designated Supervisor/Works Manager and work within a Supervisory Team with the ability to organise, coordinate, and supervise a range of generic frontline operational staff, in the delivery of services within a Roads maintenance, winter maintenance, traffic management and other emergencies. Key aspects of the role include: • Ability to make best use of available resources and prioritise accordingly delivering best value. • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers in professional manner, demonstrating a particular focus on good “Customer Care”. • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Health & Safety, Traffic Management and CDM regulations and guidance that govern statutory undertaking of works on the road network. • To effectively monitor the performance of frontline operational staff and resolve violations in relation to quality and breaches of Service Level Agreements.
