Responsibilities

• Purchase of medical and non-medical items, stock and direct requests from services/ward.
• Handle services/repair requisition form for medical and non-medical items.
• Ensure completeness of purchase requisition form upon receipt.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure correctness before verification and approval.
• Submit purchase orders to GM, OM and CEO, recording in log book with reference number.
• Follow up on purchase orders and ensure supplies are delivered on time.
• Ensure purchase orders closed within 20 working days.
• Ensure purchase documents are completed in time for verification and submission to Finance Service for payment.
• Ensure all purchase orders are scanned, photocopied and filed properly.
• Ensure pricing and related matters are competitive and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate closely with external suppliers regarding purchase matters.
