Position Description

The Division of Basic Research in the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position. Applications from outstanding young investigators with an established or very promising research program are encouraged. The successful candidate will be expected to lead an active extramurally funded research program. Teaching opportunities in graduate or medical education are readily available but requirements are minimal, permitting a strong focus on research. Clinical opportunities are also available, depending on qualifications. Generous startup funds and recently renovated lab space will be provided.
