Position Summary/Description:
The School of Government is seeking a tenure track assistant professor of public law and government to specialize in family law. The faculty member will be the School’s point person on family law issues for the State’s district court judges. This faculty member will advise and teach district court judges as well as magistrates, clerks of superior court, and other judicial personnel. The person’s areas of expertise will include child custody and child support, divorce, alimony, equitable distribution, contracts between spouses, contempt, civil domestic violence protective orders, and civil no-contact orders of protection.
