Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an assistant professor in theoretical computer science for our Edinburgh campus of Heriot‑Watt University. This role expects 40% time on teaching, 40% on research, and 20% on administrative/leadership duties. Within teaching you will cover courses in programming, logic, algorithms, theoretical computer science; teaching in databases is welcome but not required.
