The Department of Psychology (https://www.albany.edu/psychology) within the College of Arts and Sciences (https://www.albany.edu/cas) at the University at Albany invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Although the area of behavioral neuroscience investigation can be broadly defined, we are particularly interested in applicants specializing in brain and behavioral processes underlying sensory-perceptual processing, learning and memory, emotion, stress systems, cognition, neurodegenerative disease, and/or mental health disorders. Candidates should employ modern research approaches such as Optogenetics, Chemogenetics, 2-photon imaging, genetic mouse models, or machine learning methods.
