Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator (APPC) to join our Clinical Administration Team in the Ophthalmology Department. The post holder will serve as a point of contact for administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care and will provide supportive and proactive management from referral to discharge, ensuring smooth operation and high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction. The role follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and works within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
You will be an accessible, customer-focused point of contact, use SOPs to carry out functions correctly within given timescales, and ensure a consistent approach across the Trust.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience
