Assistant Operations Manager

• Assist the Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, including planning and supervising the day-to-day activities of the warehouse staff and work closely with other departments related to inventory, audit, customer service and compliance.
• Ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
• Manage the receiving and shipping of products, ensuring that all products are received and shipped in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as productivity, picking accuracy, and on-time delivery, take appropriate actions to improve performance as needed.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are well-maintained and in good working order, coordinating repairs and maintenance activities as necessary.
