Assistant Manager – Full Time

Position: 43 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £31,449–£32,648 per annum. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
• Be responsible for the development of your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
• Take accountability for the shop in the absence of the shop manager, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are handled quickly and shop routines maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.
