• New Product Development:
• Project time plan development & execution inline of APQP procedures.
• Works closely with the appropriate project managers in maintaining project Gantt charts.
• Provides required inputs for preparing engineering budgets.
• Ensures that phase reviews are coordinated, documented and executed per project Gantt chart milestones
• Cost saving innovative ideas & solutions provider.
• Must have exposure of PPAP procedures & can lead independent projects for PPAP approvals & production handover
• Should perform Kaizens in parallel to regular projects development tasks.
• NPD inventory Management.
• Product/Process Management:
• Maintains design control through proper use of parts lists revisions and design revisions.
• Actively benchmarks competitive products.
