The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely accounting services to support the organisation’s operational and strategic objectives. You’ll also play a key part in month-end reporting, tax compliance, audit preparation, and continuous process improvement while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. The duties of your role will include but not be limited to the following.
Review business revenues and costs for accuracy and relevance Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, resolving Support month-end close, including accruals & balance sheet recs' Identify and implement opportunities for process and system improvements Assist with ATO submissions (BAS, GST, FBT) Support annual external audits and respond to auditor queries Prepare reporting for extern...
