Job Title: Assistant Librarian

Reporting To: Head – Learning Resource Centre (LRC) / Librarian
Position Overview
The Assistant Librarian will support the effective functioning of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) by managing library operations, digital resources, and user services. The role requires active engagement in library initiatives, ensuring seamless access to information resources, and enhancing user experience through technology-driven solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Mandatory):
Full-time Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (M. Lib. I. Sc. / MLISc)
Desirable Qualification: UGC NET
Experience (Mandatory):
Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputed academic institution, with hands-on responsibility for:
Koha (Integrated Library Management System)
DSpace (Institutional Repository)
E-resources subscription and management
