The Assistant Financial Accountant will support the accounting team in delivering accurate financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp of accounting principles and an interest in the industrial/manufacturing sector based in Guildford.

Job Description

* Prepare and post journals including payroll, accruals, prepayments, reallocations and corrections.* Maintain high‑quality balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances promptly.* Ownership of monthly and intercompany reporting to group, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines, and being first point of contact.* Support the Financial Accounting Manager in the preparation of statutory accounts.* Compile audit evidence, schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.* Help maintain a robust internal control environment, including su...
