What you'll do
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will provide support in overseeing the day-to-day operations including safe and efficient maintenance of the buildings, HVAC equipment, shop equipment, vehicles and grounds of Ivany Campus, Aviation Institute, and all associated sites including the 200-bed housing complex. Responsibilities include managing building operations, maintaining equipment and campus grounds, and ensuring health, safety, cleanliness, appearance, and physical security standards are met in alignment with public post-secondary institutional requirements.
You will also:
Manage and supervise unionized custodial staff and their work assignments during the day-to-day and planned work activities.
Provide leadership and oversight within the entire Facilities' team in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
