Main duties and requirements:
Positively contribute to the attainment of the Businesses secured workload targets & success rates. Effectively contribute to the preparation of best value tender submissions. Lead our estimating strategy to ensure the bids are well organised, produced in a timely manner and provide sufficient information for the management team to make a valued decision. Mitigate risk during the bid phase through effective risk identification and mitigation strategies (Risk, Opportunity & Assumption register) Provide high level cost advice on emerging opportunities, maintaining database of current market costs. Ensure timely and adequate handover to the Operations team. Advise business on market changes to sub-contractor / material prices in conjunction with the commercial team.
