Assistant Controller

Job Summary: This position supports the Plant Controller in the direct supervision of the day-to-day general accounting functions, coordination of the month end closing process, and daily/weekly/monthly financial reporting. Primary day-to-day responsibilities include cost accounting; monitor and report variances, standard cost revisions and the ASAT program.

Responsibilities and Duties:

+ Perform as a Cost Accountant on a day-to-day basis. Assist and oversee the General Accounting functions such as fixed assets, inter-company accounting and financial reporting.

+ Assist in financial, internal and governmental audits.

+ Assist in the preparation of the monthly operations package, Non-Financial Indicators, Balanced Scorecard, and the “checkbook”.

+ Review/perform account reconciliations.

+ Participate/back-up for payroll processing and cycle count program.

+ Assist/participate in physical inventories of fixed assets.
