What we are looking for:

Under the direction of the Controller, the Assistant Controller is a key professional responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls specific to a project-based or construction environment. This role ensures compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and other industry regulations, and provides strategic financial analysis to support organizational decision-making.

What you’ll do:

Team Management and Process Improvement

+ Mentor general accounting staff and provide leadership support.

+ Evaluate and implement technology efficiencies, process improvements, systems optimizations, team development, training and standardization.

+ Assist in implementing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the accounting function.
