Assistant Controller

Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team in the Greater Asheville, North Carolina area. This role will be hired at the Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller level based on experience and will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while supporting organizational goals. This is a great opportunity to contribute within a dynamic retail environment with strong visibility to leadership.


This position offers a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).


Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Oversee general ledger activity, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments
