Assistant Controller - 12- to 18-month contract

We are seeking an Assistant Controller for a 12- to 18-month contract with a manufacturing company located in Laval.
Under the supervision of the controller, your duties will include:
-Participate in the monthly closing process (journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis)
-Prepare monthly financial statements and monitor the budget
-Prepare tax returns and certain tax reports
-Support external auditors and prepare year-end documents
-Assist in the preparation of financial administrative documents
