Assistant Category Manager

We’re looking for a Category Assistant to join our Merchandise team at Bapcor Retail.

This is a great opportunity for someone with retail experience and strong analytical skills who’s looking to build a career in category management. You’ll work closely with a Category Manager, supporting pricing, promotions, product ranges and supplier relationships across a dynamic retail portfolio.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting category plans, promotions and product launches
• Assisting with pricing, competitor analysis and market insights
• Preparing marketing briefs and coordinating catalogue activity
• Monitoring product performance and supporting range reviews
• Managing data, reporting and internal systems (including Excel and databases)
• Liaising with suppliers, stores and internal teams to resolve queries
