Job Description

The role:
The Assistant Design Manager will support the Design & Engineering Manager in the coordination, development, and delivery of structural design work, ensuring designs are produced safely, accurately, and in line with relevant design codes, company standards, and programme requirements. This role provides a strong development pathway for an experienced design engineer looking to progress into management responsibility.

Duties:
Prepare and assist with structural calculations, designs, and design reports in line with relevant standards

Support design coordination with Clients, Consultants, and internal Project Managers

Review and assist in the checking of CAD drawings produced by CAD Technicians, including: General arrangement drawings, Reinforcement and concrete detailing, Fabrication and steelwork drawings, Schedules and quantities
