Assistant Automation Engineer

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production Operations

• Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of IML robotic systems and injection molding machines.
• Ensure production activities follow daily schedules and meet output targets.
• Support mold changeovers, label loading, and machine parameter adjustments.

2. Quality Control

• Monitor product quality during production and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and report defects related to labelling, molding, or automation.
• Work closely with the quality team to maintain consistent product standards.

3. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Assist in diagnosing issues with IML robots, label feeders, EOAT (end-of-arm tooling), and sensors.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks as required.
