Job Description

The role of Assistant Accountant within the Radius is a great opportunity to develop your career in finance. You’ll report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the Accounting & Financial Control team, learning how to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including basic profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Helping to produce financial reporting packs and commentary for review by senior finance colleagues.
• Supporting the team in comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, preparing simple variance analysis.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assisting with year-end processes, including preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
