**Job Description**

The role involves installing mechanical and electrical components on machine tools as part of the manufacturing process.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install a variety of parts and sub-assemblies onto machine tools.
+ Read and interpret assembly drawings for new machines and components.
+ Ensure all parts required for complete assembly are delivered to the assembly location.
+ Align, adjust, and modify sheet metal components for proper fit.
+ Install electrical components and parts needed for specific machines.
+ Visually inspect machines for appearance issues and notify supervisor of any defects.
+ Operate cranes to lift and install heavy items such as hydraulic pump assemblies and transformers.
+ Utilize hand tools, drills, grinders, and air-powered tools for installation of parts.
+ Complete necessary check sheets and maintain records.
