Job Title: Assembly Operative (Engineering)

Pay Rate: £13.08 per hour (PAYE)

Working Pattern: 4‑day week, Monday to Thursday

Hours: Typically full‑time (exact shift times to be confirmed)

Location: On‑site manufacturing/engineering environment

Job Purpose

The Assembly Operative will be responsible for assembling mechanical and/or electro‑mechanical components to engineering drawings and work instructions, ensuring products are built safely, accurately, and to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub‑assemblies using hand tools and basic power tools
• Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and written work instructions
• Carry out visual and basic functional checks to ensure product quality
