**Job Title: Mold Assembler (Crimper)**

**Pay: $18-19/hour**

**Job Description**

This position plays a critical role in assembling polymer cores, attaching metal end fittings, and ensuring each insulator meets strict mechanical and electrical performance standards. It requires hands-on mechanical skill, experience with hydraulic or pneumatic crimping tools, and the ability to follow exact pressure specifications for every crimp.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble polymer insulator components according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
+ Operate hydraulic and pneumatic crimping equipment to attach metal end fittings to polymer rods.
+ Set, verify, and follow precise pressure and force specifications for each crimping operation.
+ Inspect crimped assemblies for proper depth, alignment, bonding, and structural integrity.
+ Support polymer molding, curing, and material preparation processes as needed.
