- Wires complex electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Wires panels, printed circuit boards and cabinets
- Wires components and runs
- Handles heavy components and sub-assemblies
- Performs electronic and mechanical assembly tasks such as component layout, component preparations, fastening cables, wiring, and soldering.
- Operates tools and machinery such as wrenches, screwdrivers, soldering irons, wire strippers, cutters, terminal lug crimpers, drills
