**Job Description**
The Mechanical Assembly Technician works in a manufacturing environment assembling machine components from prints and standard operating procedures. This role focuses on building mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools, collaborating with team members and material handlers, and ensuring components are built accurately and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**

+ Build machine components by accurately following engineering prints and standard operating procedures.
+ Use hand tools and power tools to assemble mechanical components and subassemblies.
+ Work collaboratively within a team when building different subcomponents of larger machines.
+ Coordinate with material handlers to pick and stage required parts and materials for each build.
+ Lift and move components and materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of the assembly process.
