Assembler - Mechanical

About the role

Based in the South-Eastern Suburbs, this person will be responsible for assembling sheet metal enclosures. The successful candidate will initially join the team as an on-hired employee working 6am-2pm Monday-Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Core duties include:

• Assembling sheet metal
• Following instructions
• Use of hand and power tools
• The right person will be provided training, opportunities for growth and learning new skills
• View to full-time role
• Trained in different areas to ensure variety

Skills and experience:

• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Ability to work from instructions/drawings
• Industrial electrical experience highly advantagous
• Previous experience in an assembly role
• LF licence (beneficial no essential)
