Job Description :

•Reports to: General Director  •Dotted line reports to: Corporate Vice President, Purchasing •Responsible for providing daily strategic and tactical direction to Asia Purchasing, Sourcing & Development (S&D) organization, as well as day-to-day management of Purchasing Manager and S&D Managers. This position coordinates with other Purchasing Directors from Corporate to define the Global Supply Base, and manage the selection and certification of all suppliers that will provide the best landed value to the Ashley Company. Conducts higher level negotiations as needed with components and commodities that are part of the Ashley Company’s global raw material supply chain.
