Registered Nurse III

The Registered Nurse III provides specialized direct patient care in an ambulatory surgical center. Following the nursing process, the RN III is effectively involved in maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN III is an experienced clinician who role-models compassionate communication with patients, family members, interprofessional healthcare teams, and physicians. Assists coaching and mentoring department staff in areas of clinical and professional practice. May assume leadership responsibilities with high-level contributions at the bedside, unit, service line, and across the institution.
