**Description:** As a Mechanical Engineering – Associate Manager, you can expect to manage definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, task delegation, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware custom and procured mechanical structural assemblies in accordance with engineering process specifications.
Responsibilities may include the following:
• Directly manage and lead a small team of engineers
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and functional senior leadership teams to manage staffing requirements, plan job assignments/rotations to sustain engineering capabilities and critical skills, and drive performance management, career development, and personnel related activities.
• Ensure standard technical processes, tools, and training are available and properly implemented.
• Manage all aspects of mechanical designs. Experience with machined parts, structures, gears, and motors is preferred.
