AS400 Programmer

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an AS 400 Programmer for a contract to hire opportunity to sit onsite in Ghent, KY. This employee will join a team of programmers and assist with the company's flat products and their overall support needed in the mill. On a daily basis this employee will maintain the company's programs and research, design, test and implement new methods for the employees to use within the plant working with the IBM system, AS400. This could inlude them researching more efficient methods and then providing technical advice to the users and creating reports or data analysis to implement these updates within the plant. It would be helpful if a candidate came from a manufacturing background.
